Ok so...

...I do feel it's kind of asinine to measure emotions with a numerical value. However, it's not something my therapist can skip because she's part of a behavioral hospital and therefore periodically we go through a questionnaire determine my Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS.)

When I first entered for treatment I was consistently scoring the highest levels of Depression and Anxiety (21) and my therapy demanded weekly in-person sessions.

One of these days I'll share what *those* cartoons looked like @_@

And though I'm not one for tests like these, I am nevertheless pleased by the reports of my illness becoming less and less pronounced. I would be lying if I said the continuously decreasing scores didn't match my overall disposition.

And why wouldn't I illustrate that?
Thanks for reading!

It's nice to see those overall numbers going down. I'm so glad it's helping! 💜

It's so odd not having the words to describe what it's like to not suffer with frequent anxiety attacks and deluges of depression. Nice? Is this? Nice?
