So earlier today I set this drawing to music for a rather obnoxious piece of self promotion. As I made it I had a rather absurd but possibly beneficial idea:
NBNerdyFeel's Sailor Moon June
My goal right now is to make is to make it up to 50 Patreon pledges. But ideally it'd be 100, or 150. So I thought maybe I could make it interesting.
If I make it to 50 followers I will: buy a sailor moon costume and take photos in it.
At 100 followers I will have photos taken of me in my costume with a fancy camera.
At 150 followers 12 random people will be selected to receive a 2019 desk calendar of me in this costume.
The goal will be to make this number by the close of June. If I don't make it then I don't make it. But I can probably whip up some promotional art that comes out every Monday (or maybe twice a week?) showing the level I'm at.
What do you think? I've got two big projects in development, plus artwork for clients. Perhaps this is a bit ambitious/distracting?
Or maybe it's easy/low-risk enough that who cares?
Thoughts?
