I have to toot my own horn I love this creature design. If I get this book deal I'm going to sink my teeth into savoring this character.

That said. I feel like this page needs just a little...something.
Flock of birds? Some clouds?

I've tinkered with adding more trees, mountains, light, multiple moons. It's driving me a little nuts but I think it's honestly done?

It's important for me to pull away from detail in service to the overall flow of story.  There is a lot of detail on this page with relatively few colors.

It has been my dream to cultivate a style that is both simple and complex. And the odd thing is, accepting/embracing a minimal style is the hardest part for me.

My instinct is to push the detail push push push!
