J Hornette (Patreon)

To say Jim Cornette is a problematic favorite of mine is probably the understatement of the century. The man is a natural heel, foul mouthed, and most definitely bigoted. I don't listen to his podcast so much anymore for all these reasons. 

However, he is an expert and living encyclopedia of all things Professional Wrestling. Much of his piss and vinegar is for show. A work. He has well guarded soft spots, and has a genuine love of all animals (he despises hunting/hunters).

When I first heard him speak I wrote him off, wanted nothing to do with him. But one day I was in a terrible mood over the state of things, and I happened to chance upon Cornette cutting a promo on Donald Trump. He has several. Listened to them all that day. It was exactly what I needed in that moment.

What can I say? He reminds me a lot of my Dad.

The more I listened the more I learned from him, and bizarrely some of Cornette's thoughts and opinions helped to bolster my self esteem.

That's all you get. And it tickles me to NO end that Cornette would strongly dislike these shoots.
