Update, Foraging, and Book Review (Patreon)

Update: I have been having health issues, not my favorite thing. Pain started May 8th and hasn't let up since. I'm taking meds but if it doesn't clear up I'm going to need to be tested some more. I mention it because I've observed I haven't been posting as much so...
...now you know!
Foraging: I forage for many different things. Mostly rocks but also wood, plants/leaves, bones, berries, that kind of thing. In April—however—I identified a source of free tennis balls. My last haul was nine balls. I take them home, launder them, cut them open, and stick them on the legs of furniture. Love that. Makes moving pieces much easier, plus you don't scratch up the floors.
Book Review:
I have been researching the life and career of "Rowdy Roddy Piper" for some time. He's a major influence—more than you know—I keep finding myself circling back.
Unfortunately the book "Rowdy" was just OK. I was hoping to sink my fangs into the unknown and learn learn learn! but really there were few details I didn't know already.
His children wrote the book. Piper was on the road working for most of their lives, so they had to research their own Dad much in the same way I did—gathering stories from interviews, family, other Wrestlers, promoters, and friends of Piper.
Some stories I'd heard many times, others were missing. Piper had a famous (and problematic) grudge against Mr. T that the book goes into. I would have liked for them to have talked about how Piper buried the hatchet with Mr. T before his death in 2015.
There's a section of the book dedicated to photos but they're almost indecipherable.
For not being seasoned writers I think they did an admirable job. Regrettably the details are rosier than they are descriptive. If you're looking for an unbiased take this is NOT the book for that.
