• Thank you!

• Alex and I remarried on the Solstice and it was absolutely lovely 10/10 no notes.

• When I realized ATW apparel didn't exist (and is easily made) I done did that.

•  I'm going through something of a transition/phase/slump artistically...

...to expand on that last one it's a combination of things. I'm really quite talented at starting projects, for have dozens at any given time. I find it's more exciting to start a new project than to finish one I'm working on. That's why not much progress has been made lately regarding comic/book making, the _QU3ST game, creating a new website etc etc etc.

If I'm being brutally honest, I'm moving through an emotional distressing period. I don't have much confidence in myself. The prospect of "putting myself out there" is overwhelming for me. I simultaneously feel as though I'm letting people down, not living up to my potential, and nobody cares anyway. I feel I've talked myself into obscurity. The thing I built my whole career around (making comics) feels impossible.

Anyway. Thank you for pledging and being here with me. Thank you.

I totally relate to the struggle of confidence in myself. I am battling it with Don Quixote-level arm flailing. Or maybe Kermit level. I am also great at starting things and not finishing. Including college. And, I am currently signing papers to start college AGAIN. What am I thinking? I've never had this particular moment in time with this level of support and this level of access to therapy and other key things. I hope you find your footing. And even if you don't, I have faith that you will do something fun and fantastic on the way.

Yay wedding! Also, the exact reason we both like doing patreon for creators is because we want to support people through all the dips and valleys that go with the creative process. You can't always do it all the time, but it's nice to know we're out here believing in you, even if it's a long time before you process through stuff enough to get to a place where you can show stuff. (that was long and convoluted, sorry) We're here, happily waiting, take the time that you need.

This was a response as thorough as it was thoughtful. Thank you. I don't mind long text comments like this at all since—very often—I'm the one making them! <3 Thank you again. Thank you thank you.

Whenever I write about personal issues I think to myself "I'm sharing too much. This is off-brand. Nobody wants to hear this." But what usually happens is I hear from helpful, understanding people like you. Typically what I'm going through is felt by many many different people. Thank you Coriander it really helped to hear from you.
