Today I had my followup appointment with Urology where I learned I had an abnormal amount of arteries lymphatics, unexpected by my surgeon.

I have a clean bill of health, y'all! I can resume normal activity 100%! Hopefully I'll have no further need of them.

Unfortunately, prior to going to my appointment I filled out my pre-check in form and was confronted (once again) with the binary:

Obnoxious.

In other news my grievance/claim has been filed, and I last week I got a letter of confirmation/apology.

...Is it just me or?

...are they still struggling with my pronouns?

It's odd that the letter addresses me specifically before alternating to they/their pronouns as if speaking of someone else.

I feel they're sacrificing correct grammar as a way of demonstrating they understand my pronouns. Which to me? indicates they still might not actually get it?

...is it just me? am I nit-picking here? what in the what?

Neither here nor there. The letter is of no real consequence compared to the results of the report. It's just weird is all!

I’m so glad you’re good health wise. On the letter front: This is ridiculous. They do not get it. Just wow.

As a fellow they/their-using person, I feel that you're correct: they're not getting it and it is manifesting in awkward/strange grammatical whatnot. It's so frustrating to see this sort of thing!

Gaaah, it's not just you. I see that all the time. Please over-using they because they want me to know they are one of the good ones! :D

I'm so glad you said that I thought I was losing my damn mind!

I don't enjoy being critical or negative, I wish I could throw them a bone but it's just WEIRD the details they're missing/don't think are important?

Well I'm glad at least I'm not the only one. SO strange!
