Anything can be a broom.  Well, almost anything*.

The object is of no significance compared with the bond.  In other words, you can't fly what you haven't imprinted on.  This relationship is formed over time, never overnight.

Within Witch circles, Iron Brooms run the gamut from controversial to strictly taboo.  Many Witches—especially those who engage with The Fae or Faerie folx—claim that iron altogether represents the antithesis of Earth-based magic.

Pish posh, dear Patrons!  Pish posh!

To put it simply Iron Brooms are the motorcycles of the Witching World.  They are go really damn fast, are notoriously difficult to control, and result in more fatal accidents than any other broom.  Some Witches—sick of hearing criticism—actually retrofit their Iron Brooms to spew smoke when riding (first popularized by Margaret Hamilton in 1939)

Here is page 39

Here are pages 39 and 40

I'm not totally content with this spread just yet.  I'm still gripping the broom's shaft here, but I think instead I should be clinging to the blade of the shovel.

Regardless I am moving on, I'll circle back when ready.  This is not the hard part.  The hard part are pages 41 (and however many more are needed) to show me 1) being nearly thrown from the broom 2) scrambling and 3) remounting while 4) conveying extreme height.

That's gonna be a ****** ******

*There is an ongoing effort (read: obsession) with using vacuum cleaners as brooms (thank you Kathy Najimy) but in they haven't made any progress in 28 years.  They're a goofy bunch.
