When I finish a two page spread here's what happens:

1. The pages are split and placed into two separate PSD files.

2. Those new PSD files are inserted into the InDesign master file (the final/actual book!)

3. Pages are then prepped for uploading online which requires

•  Converting the file to RGB

•   Altering the canvas to a square format

•   Resizing the art (to 35%)

4.  Image descriptions are written separately in a Google Document

5.  New descriptions and images are inserted/published on the website.

6.  Additional marketing on Instagram and Tumblr.

Interesting notes into the process! I absolutely love the face on the second panel, it shows so much!

In that case! Additionally: • The overall process from 1-6 takes on average 40 minutes • Interruptions, tricky image descriptions, and shitty platform fuckery (tumblr/IG) can easily add another hour or more. • Marketing/promoting yourself successfully as a digital artist is a 20hr a week job, I believe I clock in about 5-6 hours, which may be why nobody gives a crap about this project besides us(?)

That is all interesting! Also, I hate that marketing is such a big part of it, agh!
