How Can I Miss You If You Won't Go Away" (Patreon)

Above is my 2022 (proposed) social media schedule.
I'm moving to a M, F posting schedule. Public post on Monday, Patron's Only for the rest of the week (Wednesdays are wild).
This is a really good time to say THANK YOU FOR PLEDGING. So, thank you!
December I deactivated my Facebook for Winter 2022, based on the success of 2021's Summer w/o Instagram. Loved it.
...but I've realized it's not possible for me to keep using IG.
Maintaining conversations, meeting new friends, engaging with followers, and having fun creating with the platform tools? I enjoy.
The rest? I can't handle. It is not for me.
In fact, the platform make me feel like shit
When Instagram is on my phone I'm using it three hours (a low number compared to others!) every day. No days off.
My hands will start to hurt maybe an hour in. The tendons in my arm beg me to stop, but I can't. The whole time I'm using the app, I'm comparing myself to other people. The whole time I'm using Instagram I feel like I'm an obnoxious loser. A feeling, not a reality.
This is an intentional—core design function—by Meta engineers.
Absolutely it makes me tense. I hold the tension in my body, and my mood spirals. Being an easily triggered person? IG has produced many, many panic attacks. It's simply not a safe platform for me.
It's a great promotional tool—but not for me—because I'm not actively creating/making when I have Instagram. I'm just on Instagram wasting time and feeling poopy.
SO YEAH.
I'm writing here and now my intention is to ONLY have Instagram installed on my phone on MONDAYS.
Criminy! the drama!
