In the past the evidence readily revealed a disturbing truth about Humans, we had no idea how to look after a single planet.  We needed more space.  

The Dandelion Initiative was born—not from this understanding—but from our near extinction.

The idea behind Sanctuary Ships was simple: to sustain life on Earth, we must preserve it on as many worlds as possible.  Fleets of ships sped from our home planet to deliver plant and animal life to terraformed worlds.

The Phyllis Markham Lybek Bird Sanctuary was the first settlement of this kind, established by Captains J & Alexandria.
