It is so awful how weirded out people get about different disabilities. Basically no matter what happens, I feel less than them. And I want to say fuggoff! to them all, but the reality is that the wave of people who are weirded out does make a difference to me.

It's complicated! My least favorite is when another Trans person falls silent and walks away—OUCH. And yet? I have to hold compassion for that behavior if they're neurodiverse too, because overwhelm is overwhelm. Still. The silent shutting down. Yech.
