ATW DEBUT: The Toxic Mascs (Patreon)

Our first ever Heel Stable and lemme tell u something BROTHER what an IMPACT!

I love this trio so much I'm ITCHING to do a profile of them behind the curtain.  Papa Bear, Brutus, and Butch came at me around 7pm last night and I've been OBSESSED with getting them on paper, inked, and colored since.  JUST NOW finished.

GIMMICKS (from left to right)

BRUTUS (he/him) is the BERSERK of the trio and REFUSES to see eye to eye with ANYONE.  He is the LOUDEST and most INTENSE of the three.  As a matter of fact his eyes are covered much like a hunting eagle, the second the mask gets removed BRUTUS flies into a SCREAMING chest beating RAGE.  BRUTUS feels very strongly that he is the TOP DOG.  THE MAN.  CONSTANTLY losing his temper as a means of subduing EVERYONE.

PAPA BEAR (he/him) is the BIG DADDY of them all.  This giant LOVES his boys—and boys will be boys!—and can do no wrong!  PAPA doesn't worry about any opponent because he can simply pick them up and remove them.  He ALWAYS looks the other way when someone gets hurt and wishes things were like the GOOD OL DAYS!

BUTCH (he/him) is the stone cold STUD of the three (and the youngest).  BUTCH is not a lesbian.  BUTCH is THAT LESBIAN.  The meanest of the crew willing to say anything to cover up his terrible overwhelming insecurity.  A REAL LADIES MAN.  SO COOL.  BETTER THAN YOU.

Behind the Curtain (right to left)

Dani Coleman (Butch) is an Ace Lesbian really into cuddling, and gives the best hugs out of anyone on the ATW roster.  Loves reading—in particular Sir Arthur Conan Doyle—and sports ridiculously large reading glasses.  Very quiet, typically thumbing through a book up in the bleachers.  Also just-so-happens-to-be a Third Generation Pedigreed Drag King.  She/They pronouns.

Peter "Petey" Goodman (Papa Bear) is a Giant Gendequeer Queen and actually produces a good portion of the costumes for ATW, truly excellent with a sewing machine.  Prior to ATW Pete was in the business of collecting both Drag Queen and NY State Bear trophies.    One of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.  An ATW podcast favorite but nobody has figured out his identity yet.  He/Him pronouns.

Jim Brickman is a Trans Man who spent his childhood in an out of foster care and became an accomplished power lifter after being turned away from the US Military at 19 due to poor eyesight.  Hands down the most gentle, soft spoken, sensitive and caring individuals backstage.  LOVES animals and GREAT with kids.  Big softy!  He/Him pronouns.

The Punchline

Though they work to comment on Toxic Masculinity and deliver many meaningful thought-provoking dramatizations?  There are only two actual dancers on this crew.  Papa and Butch are seasoned performers with nearly unparalleled dance skills.  After tearing the house down they remove Brutus' hood...

...and then this happens

It's called "The Brutus Spot" and really that's all it is.  Screaming, chest beating, and the faint.
