Hello everyone! So here is my thinking, to make my Patreon a bit more enticing I'll be making two posts per week. One on Monday for the general public, and one exclusive post on Fridays for my babies (that's you!)You're looking at a commission I did earlier this month for a good friend of mine who works as a physical therapist - in particular with for young children. She wanted a series of flashcards containing simple figures demonstrating restorative poses. A lot of the kids she works with have various disabilities that make verbal communication a challenge so the thinking her was that simple images might serve them better.

Me being me I asked if it was okay if I made them monsters - she agreed.

Shortly after sending her the art I got a photo back of one of her students loving the cards. I asked if I could post that but we'd need a permission slip from their guardians signed so - you'll just have to take my word that they were a hit! ^_^

Said friend then asked if I'd be down for making more and maybe partnering up to do a series of these available for purchase. I said that'd be fine so long as I'm only in charge of the art - haven't heard back haha!

It's easy to get ambitious when it comes to creative projects like this since our instinct (at least in America) tends to be "HOW CAN I GET RICH OFF OF THIS??"

But 9 times out of 10 even when you try to get the ball rolling it becomes this overwhelming task where the responsibilities of the job(s) you already have erode away at your motivation until you realize the only way to see these things through is to commit to them full time.

Such is life...

I really love these monsters!

I would have liked to have made a bunch of them with distinct physical disabilities, varying body weight, and maybe some actual breasts too? But as is stands it was best to "play it safe" since adding those changes would've likely doubled the time it took to make these - and I didn't want to slam a big ol' invoice on my client.
