I think this series started in 1999. It is a snapshot of what was going on in the world at that time. After the twin towers came down, they changed the intro to reflect that.

I think the actress who played Tony's mother got an award for the way she portrayed her. I like the way they show how things do not always go right, in poorly planned and even more poorly executed criminal activities. Tony and his henchmen, complain about how mob life was so much better in the"old days", but even then mobsters ripped each other off, killed each other and backstabbed each other. The big difference in the older times was that everyone obeyed the boss, under penalty of immediate execution after torture.

Another good episode. Great breakdown of Tony relationship with his mother . Tony life super stressful.

Tony relationship with his therapist is my favorite part of the show . Good on screen chemistry. Good acting.
