I watched Will Ferrell in Elf an hated his acting too . I wouldn't watch any of his movies . The other Guys was the first good one I liked. Then I watched teledega nights . My friend told me It was good . Then I started liking his movies .

I've finally watched all of anchor man I've never been able to watch all the way through. This basically a first watch for me . I was shocked Christina Applegate character fell for Ron . That part completely caught me off guard .I was on her side the whole movie . Didn't like the teleprompter trick . But she did what she had to do . I didn't think his charms would work on her . He was immature. But I felt she knew that . An still started a relationship so I give her half the blame . Good movie.

LOUD NOISES!!!

Tara ✨💫

Hey Evie, at some point during the movie, did you recognize Paul Rudd (Ant Man) ? He was one of the 3 guys who was Ron Burgundy's team. Steve Carrell, the guy with the cowboy hat, I can't remember the actor's name and then Paul Rudd who wore that panther cologne that smelled the shit. His hair was longer and with the side burns and mustache, I can see how he could be difficult to recognize. It's so interesting because I was getting caught up with Friends that I'm re-watching with someone and I just saw the episode where Christina Applegate plays Jennifer Aniston's sister and Paul Rudd guest starred in a couple episodes as Phoebe's love interest. This was my first time watching this movie. I have stayed away, but decided to give it a try, but my initial thought was right. I didn't laugh. Unfortunately, Dumb and Dumber ruined this style of slapstick, madcap comedy for me. People kept talking about how hilarious Dumb and Dumber was, so I rented the video with a friend and as we watched it, we could tell where the funny parts were and where we were supposed to laugh, but we just looked at each other like, is this supposed to be funny? It's just stupid. Ever since then I have avoided these style of movies because they are not my style of humor. I have seen Elf. It's hard to skip around Christmas. It was just alright IMO. I've been afraid of watching other Will Ferrell movies along with Ben Stiller movies. Step Brothers, Talladega Nights, Zoolander, Blades of Glory etc. Evie, at the end during the bloopers, they showed a couple getting their lines wrong. That was Burt Reynolds and Sally Field. You probably know Sally as Forrest Grump's mom. They were in a few movies during the late 70's early 80's called Smokey and the Bandit. Those movies were well known for playing the bloopers during the credits. It doesn't surprise me that they added that little clip as an Easter egg for people who knew about them.
