Gary Morse

Hector paid big time for threatening Nacho's dad. Even worse than threatening Mike's granddaughter. Both Mike and Nacho hurt Hector's business and his living standard. It is not wise to threaten someone's family. They may be more ruthless than you, with Gus being the most dangerous, since Hector killed his partner

I don't understand Lydia. If there were to be an investigation in the future, it would look SUS if Mike was getting large checks from Madrigal with nothing to show for it. Now there is evidence of Mike being there and working on camera and other employees interacting with him as a security consultant. That looks LEGIT. Mike is being smart to do this. Just relax Lydia. Although we already know how paranoid she is or gets...

So was Gus planning to kill "ponytail guy" even if they hadn't pushed for 6?

Gary Morse

Gus had mentioned several times in breaking bad and better call saul, that he learns all he can about the people he works and deals with. So yes, he had planned ponytails death. He probably knew all about Hector wanting to use Nacho's dad's business, and that Nacho was against that. Gus chose ponytail to kill, because he could more effectively use Nacho as an informant from Hector's business.

Lydia was an idiot in this case, and Gus angrily told her to give Mike a badge then, and hanging up the phone! He is putting her in her place and shows he does not tolerate his decisions being questioned.
