This is based off a true story BTW, and the guy who welcomes him on the stage at the end of the movie is the real Jordan Belfort

Rugrat said "Pommes Frites" -> that's what we call fries in Denmark. It came from French (obviously) -> German -> other German-based languages. So, in Germany, a lot of Switzerland, Austria, most of Scandinavia, you'll find pommes frites or pommes used for fries. I thought it was the standard French word but going by your surprise, I guess it's different in French-Canada?
