I'm a bit tight on time this week since my son is sick and has been home since Monday! I'll try to sneak a couple episodes in until our next MCU Movie Friday :)

"I hear titties" fucking killed me, haha!

Robert Inman

A much younger Charlie Cox starred in the movie " Stardust". There he learns to fight from Robert De Niro 😉. Hope your boy gets better soon ( and doesn't get you ill either!)

I'm happy you like the show already. It just gets so much better. I love the writing for the various characters and I think you'll appreciate it as well. And yes, Foggy is the one who dies in the new show. So, now you get to fall in love with him before he dies. Yay! But the good thing is you don't have to go through that again. I know you mentioned seeing Deborah Ann Woll's (Karen Page) famous DnD clip. After S3, you should definitely watch the full interview. I don't think there were any spoilers but it will be safer that way. Obv I will be there to remind you again :D. She seems like a pretty cool and a very nice person. FYI, they mention "The Incident" in the show. It's their phrase for "The Battle of New York" from "The Avengers (2012)". Even though they share the same universe, there was never really explicit mentions of the characters/events from the movies in the Netflix shows. Just "The Incident" is mentioned here and there. And Deborah Ann Woll's husband, EJ Scott, is blind. He suffers from CHM/Choroideremia which causes gradual loss of vision. He was already going blind when they first met back in 2007 and has been legally blind for many years now. They both try to raise awareness about the disease. He has also ran several marathons! She actually helped Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) get the subtleties of portraying being blind accurately. So much so that he and the show have received awards/accolades from the blind community for the same. I think that's very cool!

I'm glad you're finally doing this show. It's probably the best superhero show out there. There really is no comparison to the new Born Again series. They really shouldn't even be considered as part of the same cannon. That show is garbage. Made by lesser people for lesser reasons. It's just Disney slop. This show on the other hand, is a masterpiece. The acting, writing, dialogue, characters, and of course the fight choreography is just next level. I mean that hallway fight scene is legendary. It was also made in different time, before shows were used as a vehicle to push political agendas. Back then people made art, not DEI slop. I'm sure you can already tell just from these 2 episodes that this show is something special.

The iconic hall way scene . This scene is up there with Captain America Elevator scene .
