The problem with Damon is not a simple choice, like you said with Vicky and the drug problem, be on drug is a choice. Damon is a Vampire not a choice, and Vampires are like lions, are a predatory species, it’s in their nature, not a choice. Elena has no idea of what implies been a vampire, because she is with Stefan and Stefan is lying about it, mostly with himself. He is pretending to be human and his is not and we saw a little glimpse of what happens when you repress the vampire side of you, it will explode like an atomic bomb at the first occasion, Stefan is a ticking bomb going around pretending he is a clock. Damon on the contrary is not pretending, he has accepted being a vampire because he can’t do anything about it. As Rose said killing gives a vampire a sort of fix, it’s like taking a medicine for an illness that can be cured, but you can only get relief for it. It’s like an alcoholic being forced to work in a brewing factory, the smell alone, imagine… holding back is a every minute battle, that one day you are going to lose. He can’t pretend like Stefan does and at the same I time he would love to be different, he missed to be human, we wouldn't have this problem. And Elena has no idea what she is asking of him. He is trying so hard to be a better man and get distracted from loving Elena hopelessly. Tyler is a dumb seventeen years old boy, that lived a very privileged fairly easy life, and all of the sudden he is plunged in this very dangerous world, where people get killed, and he is given conflicting information and he doesn’t know who to trust and what to do. That pack of wolves has an agenda to enlarge the pack, the more you are the more powerful you get, but they didn’t know Elijah is involved and who he is. And now they know about the moonstone. Trouble ahead. I loved Stefan so much in this episode, what he did for Caroline organising the friends to go to her for emotional support was just wonderful and so thoughtful. He is such a great friend to Caroline. Friendship goal there.

By the way Brody is Stephen Amell the guy playing Arrow.

I know a naked Salvatore is always a very pleasant sight specially if it is Damon!😂

That's true I never thought about it like that, what you say about Elena not having any idea what being a vampire is like because Stefan is kind of lying about it, in this case it would be more a lying by omission because not letting her know how much of a " ticking bomb going around pretending he is clock " he is (love that btw very well put haha). Really not mad at Tyler, I think the way he is dealing with everything is pretty realistic of how anyone would react in that situation especially with everything you mentioned! Tyler seems to have a lot of trust issues and abandonment issues as well. I'm glad we got a nice story going on with Tyler! and YES, what Stefan did was amazing, friendship goals indeed <3

Here goes the song that is playing at the Mystic Grill while Elena and Damon talk after he blows off Andi. My whole life waiting for the right time To tell you how I feel. Know I try to tell you that I need you. Here I am without you. I feel so lost but what can I do? 'Cause I know this love seems real But I don't know how to feel. We say goodbye in the pouring rain And I break down as you walk away. Stay, stay. 'Cause all my life I've felt this way But I could never find the words to say Stay, stay. Alright, everything is alright Since you came along And before you I had nowhere to run to Nothing to hold on to I came so close to giving it up. And I wonder if you know How it feels to let you go? You say goodbye in the pouring rain And I break down as you walk away. Stay, stay. 'Cause all my life I've felt this way But I could never find the words to say Stay, stay. So change your mind And say you're mine. Don't leave tonight Stay. Say goodbye in the pouring rain And I break down as you walk away. Stay, stay. 'Cause all my life I've felt this way But I could never find the words to say Stay, stay. Stay with me, stay with me, Stay with me, stay with me, Stay, stay, stay, stay with me.
