Papa Klaus has arrived! Joseph Morgan Chef's Kiss. Damon in this episode with Andi is an interesting situation, because everyone else is thinking that it's completely fake, Stefan with his negative views on Damon playing a role in how we view matters. Yet, if you pay attention, beyond the initial compulsion, we also see that he isn't compelling her anymore, the scene at the end. Also, as disturbing as the scene at the end is, we see a progress actually happen with Damon, he is fighting his impulse, his vampire nature to kill when he is in pain and is upset. Thanks to what Andi said about love changes us, and how that happens. Remember this moment with Damon and Stefan about respect also. Anyway, your reaction was great to this episode. The flashbacks are really good also, you will learn more about the Originals as they trickle it in eventually like they did with the Salvatores. Now you understand the curse and what we were saying about the curse as well.

That's interesting, I thought he didn't compel her only because he didn't really have to anymore but that if he needed to he would... I do think he proved he's getting better at controlling his killing impulse tho like he said "you know what happens when I'm upset" or something in that sense but he ended up letting her go! It was so nice to see Klaus's flashbacks before actually having him come into the show in real time and I WANT TO SEE MORE !!!!

You have to understand that for a vampire to kill is like taking a pain killer, is a fix, a relief form pain, it gives them pleasure. Now imagine feeling pain and anguish way more powerfully and having the meanning to feel relief. The problem is the aftermath, the guilt, the humanity in contrast with vamparism. Last time he killed, Jessica on the street he didn't even feel relief. Now it doesn't look like but he cares for Andi, and he compelled her not to be afraid of him and not to reviel their conversations so that he can be free to tell her everything and get her fully involved in his life. The last scene together was terrible but he saved her from himself.

Klaus is here in his true form. You were so excited seeing this entire episode this was so fun watching with you loved it. I always love TVD flashbacks they are amazing and Daddy Elijah is awesome 🤩 only 3 more left excited for these!! S3 is soo good you will love it.

Stefan Stefan everytime he feels treaten by his brother instead of talk he is mean and petty with him, Told you, he really didn't like that in last episode, his brother save the day and came out as hero by saving Elena and Bonnie, leaving him out of the game, looking usless. That is why he was bitching all day with Andi and was ready to pick a fight and came out with the line that He has Elena's respect but he hasn't, which is not true, but he knows that if he said that, coming out of his mouth Damon will believe him, deep down. This is one of the many time Stefan play on Damon's insecurity, to hurt him and to be mean to him as only brother that know your weeknesses like no other can hurt you. This time Damon, instead of been a puch ball to Stefan's manipulation game, gave him a proper beating.

This episode was fantastic, all the revelations, Elijah is back, with his calm an his manierism, I love his manierism so much, and introduced us to Klaus. Boy Joseph Morgan knows how to be charming a second and intimidating and damngerous the second after. His screming are legendary.

Elijah is amazing yes, so glad he came back this episode! he brings such a nice energy to the show <3 very curious about Klaus, since I already saw 2x20 I can tell you I really like him already he seems like such an interesting villain

You are one of the few reactors that I have seen that actually enjoy the flashback prior to meeting Klaus, it's actually really well done I think. We meet him through his brothers eyes and the interaction he had with Elijah. I'm looking forward to 3x03 with you.

Yes because I had school during that time so I took a week to focus a little bit more but I finish this summer semester on the 23rd so I don't really need it this time :)

Don't forget arrogant and glib when it comes to Stefan, Elena's words to describe Damon in 1x07. This is what I always say the cracks in the "good" guy mask starting to show and be hinted at in each season.
