I read an interview where Ian explains that Damon and Bonnie's relationship is a lot like his and Kat's in real life. They didn't like each other too much at first but then they grew to be very close friends. It always makes to smile to think about😊

So damon turned at 25 and stefan at 17 and their mother died when stefan was 10 so damon would have been 18.

No little correction, Damon turned at 24 and Stefan at 17, there are 7 years difference between the brothers, When their mother died Stefan was 10 and Damon 17, the only real loving father figure Stefan had, Damon had to take the responsibility of his young kid brother agaist a terrible father. As you can see he was quite overwealmed, he couldn't bring himself to give a speach to his mother funeral.

I can understan why Caroline wanted to switch her humanity off, but that is never a good thing, a vampire on the loose with no remorse or no feelings it spell danger, but since Caroline is a controll freak maybe it would be different....let's see.

The hug between Damon and Bonnie is life. I adore those two friendship. The happiness in Damon's eyes is priceless, one of the most adorable scenes in TVD.
