I think this could be my favourite premiere from all of TVDU. It just feels so much more mature and family-oriented than before. I think it’s because of how Hayley was in tvd (looking for family) and now she’s finally found them. Hope is so cute aswell

That's why people finish tvd first then start the originals so they would know what year they are in and also now you know why klaus was missing when Caroline went to see him

From the way season 3 ended it’s pretty much already figured out that’s why Klaus was missing when Caroline went to see him. The only thing we needed to know was how much time passed and they told us in the first minute of the episode so I think I’ll be okay watching 5 episodes of this before finishing TVD!

I’m sorry Marcel trying to use hope as a gotcha would of been his undoing, the sacrifices him and everyone else has made for that child has been numerous. Had this need to out petty is adopted father caused the Alister to locate hope and harm her and Haley. The level of unholy, depraved torture and eventual death Klaus and Elijah alone would do to him would surmount anything we have seen so far in both vampire diaries and the originals, regardless of how strong he is now. Even when he came back saying he could of thrown Klaus to Alister with the blade in him. So send him in immobilized so that he can die by the weapon with your venom which would kill the sister you claimed you wanted nothing to happen too prior. Certain situations like that make very little sense when you look at previous dialogue. However Klaus deserved to be stabbed after attempting to manipulate Marcel during that conversation. Vincent had no right brining up point in brining up cami. Marcel invited all those vampires back to NOLA to witness the fall of the Mikaelsons. So what Klaus said was true eventually one with little sense would try to get to him which would cause him to escape. Vincent brining up cami as a gotcha was just nonsensical considering Klaus was against them sacrificing Davina To the point where said to Haley that he feared that they have just created an even greater threat. And questioning Elijah by drawing a comparison to Hope. Klaus is also hypocritical in questioning Elijah as well in that specific episode, because he said that he remembered what Elijah did to him and responded tenfold when he killed Gia and was vengeful towards his siblings after their “betrayal.” He felt he did what was necessary and Elijah felt he and freya did what was necessary, although Klaus didn’t question freya as much.
