Never realized how great of an episode this was! Every interaction Vincent has in this episode was on point! Not to mention the acting on his part. From spitting straight facts to Freya about the Mikaelsons and how they’ve lived long enough. To reminding Klaus that Cami would’ve been proud. And that scene at the end with Freya Klaus and Hayley searching for Elijah in the necklace was very raw and emotional. Side note: Hayley yelling at Klaus “Enough!” Was very mom of her lowkey lol

I’m sorry Vincent becoming the beacon of moral ambiguity is hilarious. Considering he ran from regent and manipulated a teenager into taking the position. So that he wouldn’t have to face his own morality. You don’t get to tell anyone how long their family has lived and when they’ve lived enough. Sorry if I can save my family members from death that’s what I’ll do. Regardless of what means they need to survive. One thing about this show is they position the witches as the maintainers of the balance yet from the back story given. There need for “power to make peace.” As if that ever leads to peace lol. Was what created the hollow and subsequent werewolf curse. Their kind practicing dark magic and sacrifice “innocent animals” since Vincent want to bring up innocent human beings. For their spells as well as other atrocities such as human sacrifice led to their persecution and damn near annihilation.
