Hi Evie ! Great reaction :) I was so excited about this first new season's episode ! The beggining with Jamie's voice and Claire hang gave me chills ! Also I think it's nice that we got to know more about the Malva situation here, and it makes us wonder if her father really did kill her... I like the new version of Skye song (the "broken" and "tired voice" reflects our emotional stage at this point on the show haha) but not as much as past versions. So excited to watch your reactions for this show every time. See you next Monday for episode 2 ^^ ❤️

Kimberly Graham

Aaacck! SO EXCITED! Missed you, Evie! How's the pregnancy going? Very well, I hope. XO!

Kimberly Graham

Hey Evie, I'd also like to say that I watch 2 other people's reactions to Outlander and you're my favorite. :). I also love that you show the show right next to your face so I don't have to pull up another tab and try to sync it to the reactor's copy.

Bev Eimer

Ah, just what I needed - a new reaction from Evie! I enjoy your reactions so much. I hope you're feeling well as your pregnancy continues.

So happy that you are back!! I really look forward to your reactions. Can't wait to watch you see Episode 2!! I've mentioned this before, but Men in Kilts Season 2 begins (August 11), right after Outlander Season 7 Part A ends (they've divided the season into 2 parts. Season 7 Part B begins in early 2024). During the Droughtlander, it would be a great time to watch Men In Kilts (both Season 1 & 2). You told me it was a great idea, but nothing ever happened. I know that you are inundated with shows to watch, but I know you would get a kick out of the real Sam and Graham and their foolishness.

Hi Evie.....Great reaction, as always, and as I have mentioned before, your instincts are right on. Tom Christy finally found someone who was his equal or maybe more so and that is what he found most attractive in Claire. He spent his life looking for someone worthy of his love and, once he found her, was willing to sacriface himself for that person (as Jamie said he would have done). Didn't see Jamie killing Brown coming (didn't happen that way in the books) but I am not complaining and a great way to end the episode. Yes, they were tieing up loose ends, but there are a few left to bind. Anyway, glad you are back to Outlander and hope your health and pregnancy is well.

Kimberly Graham

(Tom didn't do it! You'll find out who did pretty soon!)

Andy

Great reaction Evie!! This episode was a wrap up episode, like you said. The next one will be too. Your Outlander reactions are my favorite part of each week so I am glad you are back doing them. Hope you are well and can't wait until next Monday!

EveV

Episode 2 was insane!! and that's a good point about the new version of the song, I can totally see that 😪

Merkavar

hmmmm to watch the reaction or to watch it on its own first?

I like Season 7 (Part 1) better than seasons 5 and 6, though I did very much like season 5. A postive about season 5 is that Jamie came into his own as a true leader. Plus, S5E12 is creative (my favorite line = "kill them all"). Aspects I like about season 7 include the inclusion of Jamies' adult son and the dialogue, etc. As for season 6, I wished season 6 would have had more on the lead up to the Revolutionary War.
