This is the worst episode, in my opinion. I mean Bugs was bad too, but this is awful. Sorry, but I can't even watch it with a reactor. I think we should file a class action lawsuit against whoever wrote this episode!! But do not worry, I believe the last 3 episodes this season are excellent. Can't wait to see you get to season 10 too. Oh, and I think you were too generous in your rating. Maybe a 1 or 2!!!

Hey Evie! I haven't watched yet. (I completely understand Susan and Tara's inability to watch this unbelievably horrible episode again) but I want to see your reaction so I'm definitely going to. There are only two episodes out of the whole series that I actively can't STAND. Bitten is one, Bloodlines is the other. Looking forward to watching your reaction soon! (And dreading it a bit too.) 😁

Congratulations, Evie! You've made it through the worst episode (by a lot, imo) of SPN. It is a painful slog through this soapy, (you were 100% right in that assessment!) overwrought, melodrama of stupidity. Lol! I hate it even more than Bitten because at least Bitten was going for something different in the storytelling. I think they failed miserably, but they were trying. Bloodlines is such derivative dreck. It's the same as a million other CW shows (some done well, some done terribly) that came before it. I think one of the main problems with this "spin-off" (that never spun anywhere because it was HATED! lol!) is that it is NOTHING like the parent show. There's no grit to it, or darkness. The "villain" is so camp it's ridiculous, so there's no sense of urgency or danger. The "war" that might be starting is made laughable by the idiotic characters trying to start it. This whole monster mafia thing is SO stupid. You're trying to tell us that the entire city of Chicago is completely overrun with monsters (they own the police! 😒) and yet not a single hunter - anywhere - has heard about this massive, mobster monster conspiracy? Just...so unbelievably stupid. Also the whole Romeo and Juliet schtick has been done to death, and there's nothing here that makes their version original or different. The ending of the episode is always so jarring. Like, wtf? Random voiceover is random! Where the hell did that come from? And then just shoehorning in the - *gasp* - HIS DAD IS REALLY ALIVE!! thing at the last second just feels SO desperate. The entire episode is just painful to me. It was an awful, awful attempt at a spin off. And cramming this shitty backdoor pilot into the season at such a crucial point, when what is happening with Sam, Dean, and Cas is so nerve-wracking and interesting, is just MEAN to the fandom. Lol! The first time I watched this I was literally yelling at the screen, "Who cares?!" at the beginning of pretty much every scene. 😄 Anyway, the worst is behind you, and now the last three episodes of the season are STELLAR! So, I can't wait for your reactions. ❤️ Thank you for your service in making it through this monstrosity. 👏👏

I agree, Susan...the episode doesn't rate above a two for me, and that two is only because we get to see Sam and Dean a couple times.

Absolutely the worst hour of tv. I will say, I think the young man in the episode, I can't remember his name is attractive. I keep thinking Ennis?? Is that right? Anyway, it's awful. But yes, the last 3 are magnificent. Great way to cap off a great season.

Yes, the character's name is Ennis, and yeah, he's definitely cute. I also think the actor has potential to be better than this terrible dialogue allows him to be.

This ep's not even that bad, the concept's pretty dece too....people reeeally neeed to get off their butts' about it, idk 🤷Also the entirety of Supernatural *IS* a soap...a shiny soap that's *very* well disguised, and that I LOVE, but coooome onnn....

The actor in this was in a show called Waterloo Road - set in a school that dealt with adult themes, and he was great in it. His storyline involved him having an affair with a teacher and it really was a gritty storyline - much more than this! I am debating whether to watch a small amount of the reaction or will I be torturing myself too much? lol. Maybe I'll watch a few minutes lol

The problem is it doesn't FEEL like Supernatural, it feels like generic 'meh'. I'd watch Bugs a thousand times before I watch this in full again lol. I hate 'mafia' and mob type stuff anyway

The guy who lost the his girlfriend was just not a believable hunter. But the Ghostfacers episode was the worst. It's good sometimes to get a break. From dean and Sam having a brother break up every other episode . There is a show called the Winchesters but I haven't watched it.

The guy with the red shirt was one of the tomb vsmpires who was pearl in season 1 of vampire diaries. The vampire who wouldn't listen to her .

As everyone else pretty much agreed, I also can't stand this episode. And I find it hilarious that the writers actually verbatim took lines from a scene between Dean and Cas from the episode in season 6 The Man Who Would be King. The whole Cas- "It sounds so simple when you say it now. Where were you when I needed to hear it?" Dean - "I was there, where were you?" LOL (And yes, I admit I am a total Destiel shipper. lol <3 )
