Maze has either had a soul, or been developing one for a long time. Since season 3 in fact. Do you recall the episode with the con man as bounty "Mr and Mrs Mazikeen Smith"? At the end when he asked her to join him, she declined and explained she had a home to go back to, and he said "and you thought you didn't have a soul".... The Angels - in my view and logically, have the same root powers as God... The do self actualize, and we've seen Lucifer demonstrate incredible power like when he went full devil mode to command all the demons back to hell - that was immensely powerful. Think of them as having the power of God, but not yet fully developed.... Poor Dan, and alas as the title of the next episode suggests, his tribulations are not done yet.... I like the symbolism of "the child" portrayed by Trixie... She recognized the good in Lucifer right at the beginning, and also recognized that Amenadiel was like a Guardian Angel when he was watching over Chloe in the hospital - and her being able to commune with God in a way no other human does - it's like that axiom that a young child is like an Angel in some respects.... innocent but wise at the same time... come to think about it, but God's antics were kind of child-like in this episode weren't they?

Have you consider uploading to Patreon itself or using the Patreon player (not sure how that all works) I find it works better on my phone than Vimeo

Maze growing a soul without realizing it, definitely a-maze-thing :P Another nice little tidbit, though probably not intentional and only random acting of the baby "actor": When God took his powers back, Charlies first didn't want to let go of the toy dumbbell, and afterwards he didn't want the toy back anymore. As though he realized that it's not special anymore.

I never noticed how that could be interpreted before.

Another fun episode. I loved the God and Trixie chat and then Chloe talking to Trixie. Chloe/Trixie mother/daughter chats are some of my favourite moments. Another nice little thing I noticed, a nod to past episodes but did you notice all the posters on the wall of the gym when Luci and Chloe walked through the door into the gym when they went to interview the owner- very nicely done. I do love the attention to small details that this Show does for us.

I don't think it will matter lucifer brother having a son . If they pick amenadel . It would be a sacrifice I think he would accept. Angels have to sacrifice.
