Hi Evie, Bryan Cranston who plays Walt won 4 Emmy’s during the 5 seasons of the show. I remember that I hadn’t seen it yet, but he kept beating actors from Game of Thrones and I’d get so frustrated, but now that I’ve seen Breaking Bad, I see why he kept winning. I remember seeing an interview with someone when Vince Gilligan wanted Bryan Cranston for Walter and he was best known at the time for playing the dad on a comedy show called Malcolm in the Middle and people weren’t sure about him, but they were told to watch him in a movie he did where he played someone like Heisenberg. He is so phenomenal and has such an amazing range as an actor. I think I mentioned this on a previous episode, but there is a riddle for all the episodes this season that opens with the purple stuffed animal and the swimming pool.

I'm from Texas . That's a old school way of if my dad say something at his house . It's disrespectful to go against that. If a man give his son some beer it might teach him Not to drink you don't interfere . And never grab a man bottle that's mad disrespectful. I don't drink by the way . But you never take a man alcohol. That would start a fight at any party. Walt was letting him know he running his house . If my dad say some my uncle would over step boundaries like that. Thats Walt house. He is intense tho .

I just re-watched this episode/your reaction to refresh my memory what happened in this episode before moving on to 2x11. I listened to your excellent outro. Will Walt quit cooking meth once he makes enough $, or is he becoming too addicted to being Heisenberg? By the way, I like the song playing in the closing scene with Walt (in Heisenberg form) in the parking lot telling the guy to stay out of his territory. Th re-kindling or evolving thing between Tyler and her boss -- ouch. A man has to give attention and focus (and genuine affection) to his wife. It's a good feeling (and healthy) for both the husband and the wife. Win-win.

I know your further ahead now but I really want to say you have such a refreshing outlook on the show. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone describe the scene with Walt and the liquor as him “Worshipping Chaos” but you’re right.
