This is a weird one on the god thing since this is dc universe lucifer and micheal actualy have gods power split between them if u combine them they have the power of creation in the comics micheal creates matter and lucifer shapes the matter Michael creates combined they have gods power of creation the tw8js are the second strongest beings in the universe and would logicaly be gods replacment if they worked together the show doesnt use lucifers full powers but thats comic tv and films in general you cant acurate adapt niel gaymans work and keep a real feel because he was inspired by actual mythology and biblical texts like his sandman work their beings that so far above even superman that they stay in their corner of dc soo far above suoer heroes and villains that they watch as universes die which is slightly adapted in lucifers apearice in the flash crisis on infinite earths whwn lucifer is just chilling as the universes die

Interesting comment on what would actually be a job description for God! It was good to see Luci and Chloe together but like so many times in the past, Luci's insecurities come forth again and this feeling of being unworthy... millennia in Hell, feeling abandoned by his father and wider family, ( he takes a step forward we think and then two steps back) his own feelings of guilt and shame are still not fully dealt with yet- will they ever be? Time will tell. As to Luci being God... I'm with you on this one as I am not sure he is the one for the job (whatever it is) as it seems he only wants the 'Top Job' as he thinks that is the answer to his deeply buried feelings, but is it? Intriguing ideas and the next three episodes are powerful, amazing, funny and dramatic in ways I never imagined.

I think you looking at it wrong . God chose lucifer to run hell. He ran he'll for a long time . Amenadel can't relate to humans to he became one . God isn't about being perfect so lucifer would be a good choice . The wars are human made problems. God didn't tell people to start wars that a singular person making that decision. People just do what they want . God put out the blueprint . People don't follow ,so it's not God's fault.

I enjoy that even though a recurring issue in the series is Lucifer unconsciously drawing parallels between his dilemmas and the cases he is working, in this one he has grown to the point where he consciously relates his feeling to Linda's in an effort to comfort her.
