Always was a fan of Norse Mythos, so my votes on the Aesir.

Gantistewart

Aesir are one branch of the norse pantheon, and Kami are japanese gods. Typically lesser ones, admitedly. Okami are the big ones.

Correct they are however "Slightly" Diffrent in My wife is the Demon Lord. And can very much still be considered "Monsters" Buuut I'll lend more info if they win >w>

Average Design Enjoyer

your take seems to make them feel somewhat different from the historical/,ythological versions, will be interesting to see how you do them.

I won't spoil too much but the Aesir are Hybrid Experaments that Rose up Against their Holy Order Overlords who wanted to use them as "Mob Bots" The Primary Component of MOST of the Aesir was Angel DNA (Hence the Valkyries)

Meanwhile Kami are Powerful Elemental Beings whos powers come from their Name and where their power is Tied to. The More Recognized the Name or Location/Object the more Powerful they get. They are the Sisters/Brothers of the Yokai.
