Discord issues?! (Patreon)

Some folks have had some issues connecting to our new Discord channel... If this is you, try the following.  (If you still have issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!)

Step 1: Log in to your Patreon account, and head to the Apps tab of your Profile settings page.  

Step 2: Click the option to Connect option next to the Discord app.

Step 3: Now that your Patreon and Discord accounts are communicating, our integration will assign you the role tied to your Tier! 

You can access your new role by logging in to your Discord account. 

Note: Already have Discord connected to your Patreon account for another membership? Then there's nothing you need to do! You should see the server for the creator who's now offering Discord appear when you next log in to Discord. 

If it’s been a few hours and you still don’t have access to a creator’s Discord server, then there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try that should get everything up and running. 

Step 1: Disconnect your Discord and Patreon account. You can do this from your Patreon Profile settings page where you’ll see the option to disconnect your Discord and Patreon account. 

Step 2: Log out of Discord. For help logging out of Discord, click here. 

Step 3: Head back to your Profile settings and click Connect next to Discord. 

Step 4: Log back in to your Discord account – you should now have your correct role.
