Okay. I got good news and bad news.

The good news is that this month's update is going to be considerably longer than the planned 10k words.

The bad news is that it's going to come later.

I'm really sorry, but I'd rather not cut the story at a weird place for the sake of a deadline. I strive for quality and I'd like to believe you feel the same.

That being said, I'm going to post the first half this Sunday and the rest of it within before Christmas.

Again, sorry about this. Feel free to rant at me in the comments.

Take your time. Rome wasn't built in a day.

jmspikey

if videogame delays have thought me anything is it's better to release something late and it be good than rush it and it be a buggy mess

ichaichasennin

Thank you for having my back, buddy. I knew I could count on you.

Zaiaku

People are really are not going to let EA and Ubisoft get away with that are they?

ichaichasennin

Can't argue with that. However, I don't like to disappoint in any way. Don't you hate it when your favorite manga updates later? I certainly do. Since I'm going to have lots of time between Christmas and the New Year, I'mg going to kick it up a notch and get a few more chapters in that I can release regularly.

Flbiv

I’m not too disappointed. You’re making sure that your work is top quality. The fact that it’s going to be a larger chapter is great and that you have close dates planned for posting is even better. There are plenty of stories that I love have unfortunately found themselves in the limbo state of not updating to the point that I’m concerned that they’re on hiatus or that something happened in real life. You just need some more days to get where you want in the story. The fact that you let us know and not keep us in the lurch is great and most appreciated. Keep up the good work and happy holidays!!

Shinjai

Quality such as yours is worth the wait. Take your time and my thanks for letting us know.

IgnisHeart

My question is which story is it though? Gamer or Fall?

Flbiv

... O.O Oh crap you’re right! The update never specified which story! Please be Gamer!!!

ichaichasennin

Yes, it's Gamer Night. Starting January I'm going to try and update both every month.

IgnisHeart

Not complaining since you do a good job writing gamer night, but I'm really looking forward to the next chapter of The Fall. Any idea when we can expect it?

ichaichasennin

If everything goes according to plan, on January 10. I'm then going to alternate between The Fall, Gamer Night and the upcoming FSN/HP Crossover Wizard of Swords.

LordMarksman

No problem, take time you need:) Personally hoping for The Fall being lengthy one lol:)

LordMarksman

posted before I saw the 3 more response load my bad

Finding a proper point to end a chapter is important. If you have to delay or have an unevenly large chapter as a result, that's fine. It's better than one that disrupts the flow of the story.
