Boomer's Big Dinner - Page 1 (WIP & .clip) (Patreon)

I was messing around with Patreon's settings and I figured out how to attach files to image posts! It's very unintuitive but I get to add the .clip files to posts again for this tier, if you have Clip Studio and want a peek at how the sausage is made.

I never showed Miles' workplace in detail but I wanted it to look like your average modern small compnay office, since I mentioned in Boomer's Big Date that Miles works at a former college friend's startup as a receptionist. Speaking of which I know it's a joke that has been done to death but of course the other receptionist is a secretary bird. My husband suggested making the mailman a mole, it's the first time I've ever drawn one and wowee do I want to have another go at it. Maybe it's the obscured eyes.

I made a quick mockup for a company logo and put it on the side of the reception desk in raised chipboard. I thought 'wingman' worked as a company name for something like a dating site, but when I finished the lettering it looked too serious and angular a font for that. With a name like wingman I thought, what if it started as a dating site and then pivoted to defense contracts, but it's too dark of a joke so I decided to leave it ambiguous.
