This is another case where I made some rewrites to the script to shuffle panels around a couple of pages, especially since this is a dialogue-heavy scene. I wanted to have the "Boomer just tells Miles to get another job, how hard can it get?" joke (and Miles' response) to act as a punchline at the bottom of the previous page, but since the page looked too busy with that many panels, they ended up as the first half of this page.

I think I learned a bit from the last time I had this much dialogue in a single panel (one of Outclassed 2's final pages where Walter describes his feelings at the end of the night), this time the path the speech bubbles make follows the top to bottom, then left to right reading order. I also arranged the bubbles in the top row of panels so all the bubbles in the page form a single inverted 'S' line for the reader's eyes to follow.

I didn't mind Walter's n of text bubbles, but I read a lot of comics. Seeing something novel is nice, and they were all connected from one speaker starting where the "callout" point was.

I genuinely did not notice the reading S order flow, so I guess that’s a testament to how well it read to me.
