Allow me to derail the story just a little bit to complain about groups of dudes hogging the squat racks. It's always the squat racks.

It really is always the squat racks. I belonged to a gym with 4 squat racks once that still were always being hogged!

There was a guy at my gym that would take a taxi out there and log in, only to bum the gym wifi and sit on one of the ab machines since it was basically a chair lol.
