In Triss' dark, lonesome days in Novigrad, persecuted by witch-hunters and having broken up with Geralt, Triss sought comfort with someone she was acquainted with, but would normally have reviled...

Animated Wallpaper

This wallpaper is based on the request from patron Robert.

Do you like those animated versions of wallpapers? It doesn't really need more work, so I might create those more often, if you are interested.

Here's another one:

I cant wait to see this! Just getting into the witcher and I love all your animations. You actually do movies not just short as hell clips. I'll stay tuned :)

Yeah, I was thinking it would be a great animation, too; one of those scenes in which a woman really needs to forget herself for a while and just really feel desired and owned - like so, for example (very much NSWF!) https://fuck-me-till-the-end-please.tumblr.com/post/164592945744 . I can fully believe Letho acted as a gentleman - you know, other than the whole kidnapping thing ;) - thinking of himself as Geralt's friend, still. Triss probably had to admit that he was a Man Who Takes Charge, who had beaten Geralt, and who had protected her from everyone else, in a way. As soon as Letho let her go, she went from one disaster to another. After splitting up with Geralt and being alone and in danger for so long, being the one in charge and having to provide leadership for a whole community of persecuted refugees, I can see her finding momentary relief in the company of someone who instinctively takes her freedom of choice away, even though she must have despised him - and hated herself for wanting him, as well as telling herself she was just using him for her own protection. I wouldn't say she's depressed, but Triss is in my mind exceedingly proficient at denying herself happiness. She knows exactly what she wants, but finds excuses to let someone else have it, and runs away in a panic when she's even remotely close to accidentally getting it - except when she's not in control, like when rescued in Loch Muinne or tipsy at the masquerade, or when being unaccountably impulsive, as is in her fiery nature.

And now, more to the point ;) Interesting idea, the animated wallpaper. I'm assuming you would consider camera movement but not character movement, which would make it a clip. For some reason I don't think a rotation works, but a pan or a zoom would. The speed should be a bit slower, in any case. Even if it isn't a clip, it should loop seamlessly - so if it must be a rotation about an axis, make it a pendulum swing back and forth, not an abrupt jump. I think what would actually work best is some small moving element that gives the impression of an evolving scene even if 95% of the image is static. For example, I'm thinking of the Warcraft start sceren with a banner planted in the ground with the cloth flapping in the wind and a few meteors falling; or in a landscape, slowly moving clouds or a small, distant waterfall; or in an indoor scene with view to a street or city, small moving cars in the distance. In the Triss x Letho scene, the candle flickering is already a good example; again dripping would be a nice touch, a petal occasionally falling off the rose, Letho flexing his hand; Triss slowly breathing might work well, or might be too much. In the Ciri/Yen scene, everything could be static except the fluid dripping down the skin and eyes occasionally blinking.
