The Back Log, vol. 39 - He Has Risen (Patreon)

Pockety, that is, in so many forms!

Happy Easter, Pocketeers! To those who celebrate of course - otherwise, I hope you're enjoying your long weekend! We're a quarter of the way through the year as well, which is a bit crazy. It feels just like yesterday we were returning to work here at Lowkii and getting ready to kick off the show for another year. BUT we have some cool stuff in store in the coming months, and while we're not ready to share it yet, I genuinely am very excited to be able to potentially do so soon.

Speaking of cool stuff, PATREON MERCH! Now, you'll notice that we're announcing this a bit earlier than we have in the past, and that's intentional! In fact, the team shared this on the show a few weeks back, but I wanted to post this as a reminder/for those who didn't see. The great thing is, you have one whole month to join at our Merch Pocket tier and starting earning your way to a Pockety Poster (the image attached to this post)! A reminder though, you need to stay at that tier for three consecutive months to receive each piece of merch.

We'll also be offering both Small and Medium sizes of this poster as options for you to choose from, so you'll be able to choose something that will fit your own personal space perfectly. Keep an eye out for a form for that in the next week or so, for those of you who have already earned one!

Alright, merch is cool and all - in fact, we've updated our Redbubble with a whole new range based on our new logo for the year! But there's been a lot happening in Back Pocket land over the last few weeks, so let's get cracking.

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET (and the previous week)

Back Pocket Tonight: Survivor Edition ft. Eden Porter
In a very Survivor-themed episode of Back Pocket, we managed to get a Survivor loser themselves, Eden Porter, onto the show, and he even brought his own segments to play with us! AI'll Be Back and Dude Where's My Title? rounded out the show at the end... kind of. Actually, we had a very real, very scary Survivor elimination right at the end, with none other than Jonathan LaPaglia himself! We also played our own little game of Survivor in Very Good Gameplay. And continuing to work backwards, we had a stacked What We've Been Playing with Pepper Grinder, Dragon's Dogma 2, Bears in Space and Helldivers 2 all covered. AND before that we broke down the latest Marvel game announcement, Marvel Rivals, and all the potential pitfalls it faces. Boy, it was a chunky episode...

Pocket Buds: License to Halo?
Seeing as it's been a couple weeks since our last Back Log, that means we also have a couple of PocketBuds episodes to cover. The first was an episode all about licensed video games featuring YouTuber minimme, who knows his own fair share of stuff about niche, weird games. And his name is Peter! Which allows me the smoothest segue into this week's episode, which featured our very own Peter Burns to talk about the one thing in the world he loves as much as Steph, Halo. And, they both have their own bonus eps to compliment, of course!

Game Nights
That's right, I'm adding in a little new section in here for all the VODs from our weekly Game Nights that we're now doing on stream (mostly, every Monday at 4PM). I normally will leave this description-less, like the socials section now is, but not this week. Also, little note that these uploads will often be a week or so delayed, so you might not see the latest week's stream in here every week.

NEXT WEEK ON BACK POCKET

It's finally happening. The fabled Back Pocket Hot Tub Stream. Tomorrow, Easter Monday - the tubs are hot and we are ready. As should you be.

Meanwhile, on the show, we're joined by our friend Shane Bailey from GameOn Cancer! And our PocketBuds guest is a recent main show guest, Zac Naoum! That's one hell of a week of Back Pocket, so get ready.

Jeez, this was a long 'un. I ain't gonna keep you any longer, so I'll simply say, I hope you're well, and if you're not, I hope things are on the way up! Until next week, Pocketeers...
