The Back Log, vol. 40 - Hot Tub Back Pocket (Patreon)

The time has come, and gone..,

Wow, what a week of Back Pocket hey? Our first ever (and most likely last) Hot Tub stream, on top of a couple of big episodes of Back Pocket and PocketBuds respectively!

We'll jump into them nice and quicky, but just quickly for housekeeping purposes, Merch Pocket peeps have a new Google Form to fill out, this time to pick your poster size for the upcoming Pocketies Vol. 1 poster. I'll be starting to ship these this week, so please fill out the form ASAP if you're eligible!

And of course, a big thank you to Dolphinpants for this week's #creative content, which is a sneak peek of what you may have missed from that scandalous hot tub content...

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET

Back Pocket Tonight ft. Shane Bailey
This week we had the absolute pleasure of once again being joined in the Back Pocket studio by Shane Bailey, long time friend of the show and part of Game On Cancer. So naturally, he was put through the ringer, as we played easily the most convoluted of all the Pete's Party Time games, The Hone Zone, and forced him to admit his deepest, darkest secrets to Pockety in Gaming Confessions. Meanwhile, What We've Been Playing covered Stellar Blade's demo, Open Roads, The Legend of Tianding and Splatoon 3's new DLC, Side Order. And we also had a lovely old chat about the age old debate around video game ratings, and the latest innovations that are raising eyebrows around it (and also scanning those eyebrows).

PocketBuds & Dragons
Fresh off his main show Back Pocket debut last month, Zac Naoum was kind enough to join Ruby on the show this week for an episode of PocketBuds all about the wonderful world of Dungeons and Dragons, and to be more specific, just how it's gotten to be in every single corner of our lives these days! So roll initative, grab yourself some temporary hit points and give it a listen.

NEXT WEEK ON BACK POCKET

After unfortunately having to cancel our episode with minimme at the last minutes a few weeks ago, he's back and all tee'd up to be on the main show this Thursday!

On the streaming front, we have a Ruby stream pencilled in (so who knows what madness that will entail, and speaking of Ruby, our PocketBuds guest this week is Cass Paige of Sanspants!

It seems like winter has finally started to set in down here in Melbourne, and I heard those up in Sydney were absolutely drenched this weekend, so I hope you're all safe and largely unaffected by it! Oh well, if there's one positive about the winter months, it's that you can cuddle up under a blanket and play some games all nice and cozy! Now, all it comes down to is which to pick from that never-ending backlog...
