The Back Log, vol. 41 - A Tale of Three Spores (Patreon)

Shout out to Kirbo, Boney Hawk and Butthole Jeremy.

Not sure what the heck is going on in this week's #creative piece (once again brought to us by Dolphinpants)? Well, that's because you haven't been hanging out in the Monday afternoon streams! A reminder that you can catch up on old ones via this playlist, which we are slowly updating with recent streams once we have the time to reupload the VODs! Or instead, you could join us LIVE every Monday from 4-6PM AEST and see all the madness happen right in the moment...

What else is going on in Back Pocket land? Well, there was a sneaky early drop of some brand new content for our Gold Pocket patrons on Thursday, and while we don't wanna give away the full gambit just yet, everyone else will learn more this coming Thursday, so keep an eye out 👀

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET

Back Pocket Tonight ft. other Peter a.k.a. minimme!
We managed to perfect the science of splitting one Peter into two, and so we thought we'd grab the second (who also happens to be a video game YouTuber) onto the show as well! And given that Peter's expertise in movie tie-in games, we made not one, but two segments, all about that. That's right, both a Ranky Panky and a Very Good Gameplay of Goldeneye! And that was all after a Backup where we looked at the brand new Star Wars Outlaws trailer, and a WWBP packed to the brim with games, including Children of the Sun, Princess Peach Showtime, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Content Warning.

PocketBuds: Showtime!
Not content with talking about Peach's latest starring role on just one show this week, Ruby made the latest episode of PocketBuds all about it too! And to dissect just why this game is Nintendo's latest masterpiece, she was joined by Cass Paige of Sanspants Radio!

NEXT WEEK ON BACK POCKET

We've got a big week of Back Pocket once again, and it all starts on Monday with a Gus stream! He seems inspired by all our talk of movie tie-ins last week, so potentially expect a journey back in time...

Our returning guest for Thursday night is none other than the fantastic NatTea, while on the podcast, Ruby will be talking to Jojo Zhou of Massive Monster about the most recent GDC!

Oh, and there's that special thing you'll see on Thursday...

I've written most of this while queuing for a FFXIV dungeon and it still hasn't popped. I'm at 25 minutes and counting. Please save me from this hell, I just wanna go and watch the Fallout show...
