The Back Log, vol. 47 - Spooktacular Edition (Patreon)

What a horror-ble week it was!

Ok, I promise, I'll stay light on the bad horror puns in this one. But we hope you enjoyed the first of our Back Pocket special episodes this week, and probably the spookiest! We've still got a Fantasy special for you in the coming months, and after dressing our most ghoulish, the gang will be psyched to get their most fantastical outfits ready. And hopefully then Jazzals can once again capture it wonderfully in their art, like they did for us this week!

But there's plenty to get through before then in the world of Back Pocket, including in the next month alone! I can't say too much here, but let me tell you that there'll definitely be a lot more Green around...

Enough about that though! Time to catch up on the week that was.

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET

The Back Pocket Horror Special
Vampires, nuns, nurses, jokers, Ethans - all were welcome to the Lowkii Studios for a night of horrific celebration! Everything had a bit of a horror spin on it, from A Lil Bit of Hack Up all about the weirdness in the latest Shadow of the Erdtree trailer, to a What We've Been Slaying filled to the coffers with spooky games of all kinds, including the brand new Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, Voyager 19 and Crow Country. We also brought back our favourite archeology related segment, Can You Dig It? (Should You?). And we then wrapped up the night with A Very Scary Gameplay where we returned to INDIKA, which we started in our Playback last week! But we didn't actually toll the bells there, as we kept the show going for a live 'Post' Show, free to everyone for this week.

Why, Doctor Who of course! Haha, what a funny joke I just made that no-one has ever made before. You know who else is funny - my friends Ruby and Will, who I work with, and who also feature in this episode together. That's right, none other than the former DoctorOfWho himself joined the PocketBuds pantheon this week to dive into the (somewhat disappointing) world of Doctor Who videogames.

NEXT WEEK ON BACK POCKET

This coming week, the guests are all not really guests, because they're all members of the team! Don't worry, we have plenty of cool guests lined up for the future Thursday shows, but we wanted to do another one with members of the team this week, for some other special reasons. So, Will shall be returning to the couch!

In podcast land, it's an Angus Ronald return! And for those partial to our Monday night streams (which I am sure you all are), Pete should be back to return to his journey through Halo, this time with Halo 3: ODST!
