The Back Log, vol. 48 - The Final Shape is a Pockety (Patreon)

Happy Destiny week to any and all celebrators!

Ok, look, Rhys Wild appealed to a certain two loves of mine with this week's #creative piece. I couldn't not pick it, because not only is it bringing out that Destiny hype, but I also just really like Shapes. Pizza is the best flavour and I won't hear any arguments to the contrary.

Also, there's a studio-sized housekeeping to do this week, because we're moving studios! Well, not me obviously, I'm still vibing here down in my home office in Melbourne - but the rest of the gang have slowly been preparing to move to a new space for a little while now, and this week is the moving week! That obviously means things will look a bit different this coming week, most notably that there won't be a main show this Thursday. But, there WILL be a Game Night stream that night, which we're lucky enough to be sponsored by PlayStation for! So ultimately, you'll still be getting a night of Back Pocket content, albeit in a different form.

We're hoping to be all set up in our brand new studio in time to do a show on Thursday 13th June, but please bear with us if that doesn't happen! Hopefully everything goes smoothly and we're all ready to go, but just in case, make sure to keep an eye out for further announcements.

Back Pocket Tonight: Goodbye, Old Studio
For our final episode in the original Lowkii studios, we decided to keep it in house, and get Will to fill in the final seat! And because Will was there, it was a great opportunity to do a catch up on all the developments in our Pocket League competition! But before we got to that, we brought back a segment that we forgot we had even done, Pocktionary. And even BEFORE that, we had our usual Lil Bit of Back Up and What We've Been Playing, with the focus this week for the former being on Lego's brand new Zelda products, and the latter going through The Rogue Prince of Persia's early access, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remake, RKGK / Rakugaki and Nine Sols.

As I said earlier, this week will look a little different to usual, with no main show - but we'll be doing a Game Night sponsored by PlayStation's Days of Play instead! Keep an ear out for more details on what game we'll be diving into for that one.

It's Ruby's turn for a Monday night stream this week, and she'll be doing it as a PNGTuber, playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door! And on the podcast this week, she'll be talking to Snugboy...

Other than that, I imagine there's a chance Pete is doing a Destiny stream or two sometime this week. I can't say for sure, but I do know there is a certain raid releasing this coming Saturday, so... 🤷
