Oh, how far memes have come.

Thank you to A Pawn Called Bishop for the meme that finally showed Peter and Gus just how old they actually are. Post-modern, abstract memes were too much for their brains...

If you wanna see why it was too much for their brains, it was in our post show! And you can get there by being at the Gold Pocket tier, which gives you access to a ton of other cool exclusive content we've made, and will continue to make. It's a very cool club, and if you're unsure, we've started posting previews to our Patreon feed - so if you're at a lower tier, you'll be able to get a little sneak peek of the posts you're missing out on.

Also, quick note before we get into everything else - you'll notice this is going up on a Monday! I've decided to push Back Logs to post around midday on Mondays because that way we've had our weekly internal meeting, and I can give you all a proper preview of the week to come! It just makes sense. So hopefully, you all agree!

LAST WEEK ON BACK POCKET

Back Pocket Tonight ft. Sarah Wolfe
Our guest this week was yet another awesome one - producer on the upcoming game Mystiques, and also an extremely talent musician, Sarah Wolfe. You may know her from her musical talents on the Solium Infernum soundtrack earlier this year, but tonight she had to apply those talents to our own fan-favourite 'musical' segment, Avoiding the DMCA. And we also decided to test her in something entirely out of her wheelhouse, with Challenging Times making its triumphant return, featuring a special Back Pocket track in Trials Rising. That was all after a Lil Bit of Back Up all about just how old the Nintendo Switch is, and a What We've Been Playing featuring Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Aska, Times & Galaxy and Hauntii!

PocketBuds: Maus House
After some deep and serious chats about the industry over recent episodes, it was time for Ruby to get a guest on who would bring an entirely different vibe - meaning it was friend of the show, YouTuber Indeimaus, to step up to the plate. Talking all about his experience making videos, as well as his love for all things scary in the video game world, it's a great one, and also has the record for the most bleeps Ruby has had to do in an episode. Or at least we think it does.

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET

And here it is, the whole reason why these are now going out on Mondays! So what is on the table for this week? Well, there's a little bit of a skeleton crew this week, with Josh, Pete and Steph all away for varying chunks of the week, so things will look a little (but not too) different.

Starting tonight, we have Josh streaming some Mass Effect 2! Then, instead of the main show this Thursday, we'll be doing a Community Game Night of Fall Guys - expect more details on this later in the week, but just know, there will be prizes...

And then in PocketBuds world, we have Ruby interviewing Duncan Corrigan, co-organiser of the games event Serenade!

Oh, and there'll be a cheeky Playback later in the week, and we took the name of this one a little too literally...

--

Well, that's it! Seeing as it's a Monday, I guess I'll wish you all the best for the rest of the week - hopefully you can get stuck into some cool new games, or maybe make a small dent in that backlog.

Personally, I'll be continuing my FFXIV journey - after finishing the Endwalker main campaign last night, I'm slowly getting closer to my Dawntrail holiday!
