The Back Log, vol. 58 - Pockety With A Chainsaw (Patreon)

Coming to an EB Games near you!

So Dump Daze, what do you think of my addition to your collection? I know Squirrel with a Gun was an absolute hit, and frankly, this one may be more niche but I think we have something here...

LAST WEEK ON BACK POCKET

Back Pocket Tonight: Raj's Back!
Our favourite not-at-all-canceller-of-things, Raj, was back, and this time in a swanky suit! It's wild that he got all dressed up just to discuss the latest PS5 Pro news in The Backup, though... Anyway, after dealing with the $1200 elephant in the room, we cracked on with the rest of the show, including a What We've Been Playing featuring Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Astro Bot, Squirrel with a Gun and Star Trucker. We also honed some zones in the return of a Pete's Party Time classic, The Hone Zone, and returned to a past Very Good Gameplay as well (kinda) as we jumped into the newly released sequel Pico Park 2!

PocketBuds: A Swift Journey into Space
This week, Ruby sat down with our very own Josh Swift! And if you know Josh from our show, you'll most definitely be aware of his love of Star Citizen, and by extension, the whole wide universe of video games set in space! It's a little bit existential and a fair bit of a good time.

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET

It's an Astro Bot-filled week, with Pete jumping into the superb platformer that he has absolutely zero other feelings about for our Game Night, from about 7PM tonight! And for our PocketBuds episode, Ruby will be talking to Leah Williams all about that little bot and his latest adventures!

So what's our Thursday show? Well, we'll leave that one as a surprise, other than mentioning that it's actually on Friday this week... what could possibly be happening? 🤔

As Green Day once said, wake me up when September ends. Because that means it'll be October, and we'll be in the month of some of this year's biggest games - Metaphor, Dragon Age anyone?

Get your backlogs clear because in a few weeks, it's about to get hectic once again. Or just be like me, and plan to do all that only to play more Final Fantasy XIV...
