Howdy folks, Ruby here!

So there’s no easy way to say it… PocketBuds is peacing out on October 18th, and the sixtieth episode will be the final episode.

The podcast has been an absolute delight to make, and I’ve had a really amazing time getting to speak to so many insightful and talented people inside and outside of the games industry. Getting all sorts of funny and interesting gaming stories out into the world has always been a passion of mine, and giving people the chance to talk about the things they make, the things they’re passionate about, and the things they reeeeeally hate is nothing but a joy. Also, writing dumb intros and filling them with a ridiculous amount of stupid sound effects is fun and funny to me.

I’d like to say a big fat thank you to everyone that took the time to come on the show and yap to me, and also a big fat thank you to you, the listener. The array of comments, reviews, and messages supporting the show always made my heart warm and fuzzy, and knowing that there were at least a few people tuning in each week to hear from the next yapper and I really kept it all trucking along. I have nothing but the juiciest of appreciation for you. Thanks a freakin’ million.

Of course, you’ll still be able to catch me on Back Pocket Tonight every Thursday evening on Twitch, on our YouTube channels, as well as the odd Game Night stream on Monday nights. If the mug is too much and you just want the voice, rest assured that I will probably pop up on other people’s podcasts whenever they let me out of the enclosure here and the other studio’s doors are left unlocked.
