as for me, i've been gearing myself up for da sweetch 2. after i finished work at my other job yesterday, i went into the city and met up with oliver, we got dinner at a yummy taiwanese restaurant (i deeply fucks with braised pork belly. that shit bangs), and then went and watched the 2 hour and 50 minute mission impossible movie at the cinemas to help pass the time before we picked up our switch 2!!!!!

you know i had to go halvsies with my partner because that thing is EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!! but alas, i am a gamer.

up until then, i'd been digging more into Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time which i was originally planning to talk about on the show. but with the switch 2 hullaballoo, we're all talking about switch 2 games so i decided to revisit a big buggy mess that i initially dropped after an hour of playing it because i genuinely could not deal with the performance issues. that's right baby, i tried the free switch 2 update for Pokemon: Scarlet & Violet!!!!!!!

AND I CAN'T WAIT TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!
