Little late for the week but here’s another sketch.

Like the chibi Mino, the blue parts have a slight metallic texture in it. I did this page together with the other acrylic paint experiments, well at least the bg. Mino was drawn over it just now…bc it’s really rainy here atm and it’s tearing on my mood 😅

Anyways, hope you like it 🥳

The imagery works. I was immediately reminded of some of the best anime rain I've ever seen. And in my mind, the anime rain has been the best rain ever portrayed. Something about the way it works just spreads the soft silent melancholy sadness of a day without sunshine when you meditate upon your life's woes.

With whatever past mino had, it makes sense why she would be perfect for this kind of sketch. I also actually JUST noticed that these sketches are only characters from InSecurity & Kitten. So I'm now wondering. Will there ever be sketches like these with characters from Remy or Gal-Axy?

I‘m currently focus more on ‚Kitten‘, since that’s my most popular project. ‚In SECURITY‘ is taking a bit of a backseat but I still like to throw it in the mix here bc a lot of readers are still very attached to the characters and therefore I still want to make art for them 😊 I hope ppl will eventually feel the same about the other three projects bc I‘d love to make more exclusive art here. But I don’t think the demand is there for the time being. So, out of time management, my priorities is mostly Kitten, at least for now. However, I‘m happy you asked about it. It’s definitely a good sign 🥰

I definitely would love to see artwork of Remy & Gal-Axy as well. Heck, it makes sense with Mildred. She's modeled in her comic. And there's the Comicon cosplay too.

Have you considerd doing character polls? Some other creators do a "character of the month" thing where everyone votes for who they want to see that month. They start the poll a few weeks before the month, close the poll by the 1st and have the art done by end of the actual month. (Poll mid-May, art done by end of june; next poll mid June - art done by end of July) Perhaps do 1 sfw poll and 1 nsfw poll, then the rest are your choice. (Obviously you ultimatly decide who's in each poll). The creator I'm thinking of does it so whoever won last month, won't be in the current poll to help keep it fair - If it ends up Mino every two months that's fine, but at least the others will have their chance.

I like this one quite alot - well not the sad Mino part - I like that there's somehow depth between Mino and the "window". I don't understand it, she on a moslty solid white backgroud, yet the blue is enough to convay shes on a bench or windowsill geting rained on. Then Mino's emotion is so clealry convayed in her expression and body language. Beautify done.
