Something cute,

I’m a bit in a slump right now, lasting for several weeks and I’m still waiting for it to get over. I’m currently considering switching all my online activities to WEBTOON and Patreon only, moving away from social media all together and instead sticking with my core audience (you) exclusively.

Which would mean you get to see more art outside of the usual posting…and also me being more actively engaged in the comments…let’s see 😅

Either way, this was more or less just a cute fun drawing that turned out way better than expected, imo. I really like using these quote stickers….although some might not really make much sense since they seem to be sayings translated into English…and you know how it can be when you translate proverbs word by word 😅

Either way, I still think it’s cute…also, can you spot the butterfly? 🥰

I actually needed a reminder to take a breath, so thank you. 🐻

I'm happy with that, it has to be exhausting trying to keep up on social media by yourself, not to mention I heard X is looking to use Creator's posts to teach their AI which is really gross in my opinion

As i always say, we support you and your amazing art because we want to see you shine and grow, no matter what channel or method you choose, as long as it suits you and makes you happy on a daily basis. As always, love your work. (And the little butterfly in mino's sights is really pretty)

Michael Minnott

Thank you for pointing out the butterfly. Saw it!

Ed

Yup, a lot of people I follow posted how they're switching to blue sky because of it and I don't blame them.

Nick Klepac

Love you idea since I can't use social media.

GAMER GUY

Very cute. A few years ago, I was walking home from work when I saw a little girl walking with her mother and grandmother. She was singing quite happily while wearing boots and a rain coat, and holding an umbrella, all with the same design as the one you drew. When I'm down, I like to revisit that memory.

Drift

Needed this today. Thank you.

Yay another cute picture of Mino! Take a breath and get off the crazy social media and come chat with us...on a hyper specifc social media all about you! (Okay, I can see how that can be exhasting too).

After the election I dropped all social media. I don't read any of the Google posts or watch any news. I can't influence anything so I will just concentrate on the things that are important to me. I've been a supporter of yours for years and love Mino (all Mino all the time). So be well and focus on what you love and drop the rest. (Old guy lecture complete. )

I actually feel the same. I mean, social media is designed to keep people upset. But for a short amount of time it felt pretty nice because I was able to curate my timeline with art and weeb stuff. But I noticed it for awhile now how people are getting more aggressive and rude, not only when it comes to political discussions. the increased bot activities and misinformation through deepfakes and AI makes it just worse. I think at this point it's just better to retreat...or at least return to the online behavior I had in the early 2010's...which was just watching anime and posting art, lol XD

InSecurity

well, as long as nobody calls anyone an idiot over their head canon, I think it'll be alright. I'm just tired of drama and pointless aggressions at this point ._.

InSecurity

aw, that's so cute. It's really adorable as heck how kids and pets can enjoy life so carelessly like that ^^

InSecurity

I think that's how those platforms will operate from here on. Meta is already scrapping art. not sure how it will affect the future of online media...guess you all can make 'in SECURITY' comics, with or without me 🤣😭

Ed

Never, it's only a Bea comic if it's drawn by you

No idea if you did drop social media or not, but I honestly can't say I would blame you. I never got into it myself despite virtually everyone else in my grade having jumped on it, and I am infinitely glad I never did. I swear, every time I heard people mention it on TV, it was about how rude, crazy, inconsiderate, etc. people were online. And obviously, that applies to any online marketplace (I'm sure people are mean or rude on Webtoons and here sometimes), but it seems as though social media is designed for that. I am limited to (because I think they are still considered social media in some form) YouTube and Discord (for which I am only part of two channels, one of which is mostly inactive and undistracting), and quite frankly, I am quite content to leave it that way. People more and more online seem to forget that there is a person on the other side of the screen. We seem to be forgetting that we've always had disagreements with each other and (usually) didn't cuss each other out and tell us to (insert horrid, unoriginal comment here), and that we are all in this world together. Needless to say, your decision has no bearing on me, but I certainly support whichever one you choose. It's much easier to deal with a small sect of people who actually like and support your work than a large mob who may or may not care (like what Viola has to deal with in the comic), and let's be honest here - if a critic pays for Patreon for a month just to complain about you, then they're just giving you money at that point, which is better than dealing with it for free (can I charge customers a $5 fee for cussing me out at work?)! Either way, I will continue to support you! I've always loved your work since I found it, and I am happy to support the work of creators whom I love! So, keep up the great work, the fun comics and ideas, and always do what's best for your mental health!
