Earlier in the story, it's mentioned that Rupi's mother hates the idea of a catgirl living with him. It was touched upon more in the part of the story where Rupi meets Jack Anger (from Katzen-Jammer) at a bar and Jack gives him some advice about it. Also, Rupi at some point made the comment that she's more of a dog person, but that could be just an excuse. The story hasn't yet done a deep-dive into that situation, and we have yet to actually meet Rupi's mother.

Thinking of Rupi's family, we haven't seen his sister in a long time. I still fondly remember her "Only Pans" content (I'd definitely buy a skillet from her!). Based on that, we need to pester Bea into including the sister in her pinups.

There's a LOT of female side characters of whom I'd love to see more pinups! As much as I love Mino and Gal (from Gal-Axy), seeing them and only them in pinups does get a little old after a while. Bea's got a whole bunch of lovely ladies in the background of ALL of her strips, and I'm sure I speak for plenty of us that we'd love to see more of them! 😍🥰💖

I agree about wanting to see more characters represented. I get Mino and Gal are pretty much the only ones allowed to have lewed pinups and that's okay. But the sketches could be sfw and open to all; Rupi's sister, Mildred, Char, Ellie, Sedine, Gal's roomate, Cindy, Thing 1 & 2, and yes, even the guys can have a chance to keep it fair. I like the poll idea. Each month we vote on 1 sketch and 1 nsfw, Bea picks who's in each poll and the rest of the characters for the month. Whoever wins the poll is banned from the next polls for 2 months.

Yeah, Mino's a bit tougher than she appears given her backstory. I mean Rupert finds her out cold in an alleyway, clobbered by her prior boyfriend. But she is very much the 'house' cat. So Viola's assessment is not that far off. The backstories are complicated enough that you get a good give and take between the two of them. So yeah, this is definitely one of the better story lines.

But I don't want to pressure bea with giving her more work. She's already got...*counting* 5 comics to work on. if you include the InSecurity re-runs.

Did we ever find out what happened to the lady's tail? After all that story about how great and beautiful and elegant it was until it wasn't anymore, it's a little surprising there is NO tail there now.

I suppose this thread did go off the rails :) I was building upon with KF57's comment about seeing more ladies represented in the pinups. And I agree, Bea is with out a doubt giving us a lot content. Bea has expressed reservations about doing other charcters for fear of upsetting Mino's fans. A couple of polls to help mix it up, in-place of some of the current sketches, would be cool. Maybe 1 poll sketch, 1 polled nsfw sketch and 2-3 "chef's choice", instead of the (just counted) 13 in decemeber (counting nsfw, but not variants). (Bea of corse picks who's in each poll) Really it's up to Bea, its an idea to let her show off her other characters without alienating the Mino Super Fans, if they exist.
