Because when your artificial gravity device malfunctions, you gotta make the best out of it!

Little fun fact: Since ʎx∀'s craft is a fairly old model (and he's not too attentive when it comes to its upkeep) this situation might as well be canon, lol XD

Btw, I can't believe I drew this. As in...I didn't think it would turn out this nice. When I started this illustration I had a bit of a sour mood and had no clear vision what I even wanted to draw. I had a different pose with this setting sketched out and mid process abandoned it in favor for this version. So, not much hope for success in the beginning but in the end things worked out pretty well, imo :)

I guess there is one little regret, I should've set up this motif in a way where I could've hid his left leg in the nude version...solely for the reason that I didn't really had a proper design on how he'd look without his boot on ^^". (needless to say, I might change some details when we get to that point in the comic)

Also, it's kinda a semi spoiler since it hasn't been properly addressed within the comic that he's an amputee...Of course, I'm not sure if that's necessary that earth shattering for the readers since we already have established the cane so...yeah...^^"

Either way, alternative versions in the attachments. I hope you like them and my apologies for the little delay. I try to get the next pin up done in time again :)

You sure know how to keep us warm this winter.

She looks so in love, and he looks like he wants to do everything he can for her. They really do make a great couple.

Now I'm wondering what it would be like to...do it in zero gravity. And his leg looks like a peg leg, which then made me think "space pirate".

Wow, this might be my fav yet of yours!

From what I've managed to find on the 'Net, it's never actually been tried; but the theory is that if ever attempted, it would be a total letdown--not just due to the physics of trying to hang onto each other, but the toll that weightlessness takes on the human body. Main reason is that blood doesn't flow/pump through the body in weightlessness like it does in full gravity. There's a short, relatively safe-for-work info-video included in the "Sex in space" Wikipedia article on it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
