Rupert is no fool. As much as he might want to hear her say those words, he knows she's only saying them now - suddenly, out of nowhere - because he's been spending time with Viola, not because Mino really means them. I'd be hurt and upset too.

Well, at least Mino stopped beating around the bush and went for the direct approach that she should have started with. The problem is that she's been beating around the bush and teasing for so long that it might have been too long. We'll see how Rupert responds in the next comic, but given the look on his face in the last panel things aren't going to go well. At least we got Mino in a lovely looking dress.

I remember she said that just before her last boyfriend smacked her upside the head. I HOPE Rupert responds more gentlemanly manner, or at least recognizes her feelings. On the other hand, he may be expressing his annoyance at her feeling the need to say something about them that he has taken as an obvious for ages. I am on pins and needles.
